Technical Representatives

Effective representation of amateur radio’s interests in international organizations (ITU, RTOs, CISPR, etc.) requires a high degree of professionalism and technical knowledge. The IARU is fortunate to have a team of well-qualified volunteers who are willing to devote their personal time to preparing for and attending meetings in Geneva and elsewhere around the globe. IARU technical representatives work directly with the IARU Administrative Council as well as with their regional IARU organization.

IARU member-societies also have need of volunteers with similar skills to represent amateur radio on national committees and to the telecommunications administration and regulators.

If you have the qualifications, time, and motivation to help protect amateur radio’s future, please consider volunteering. More information is available here.
