AI 9.1, top­ic a) – Pro­tec­tion require­ments of space weath­er sensors

Because space weath­er sen­sors use an extreme­ly broad range of fre­quen­cies, the intro­duc­tion of pro­tec­tion require­ments could poten­tial­ly impact vir­tu­al­ly all exist­ing radio ser­vices. Prepa­ra­tion of this por­tion of the Director’s Report to WRC-23 thus far is lim­it­ed to con­sid­er­a­tion of def­i­n­i­tions that could set the stage for a WRC-27 agen­da item with pos­si­ble impli­ca­tions for allocations.
